The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and presented the first table of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, striking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as important members in the influential clan could enable the group access locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Questers and Strategists groups.

Fans can look forward to discovering which players will be where in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
